2025 Rankings Report: Top 70 Private Construction Companies
This Report is dedicated, for the seventh consecutive year, to a specific segment of the construction market: private building construction (primarily third-party contracting, though in some cases also direct development activities, mainly in real estate development and, at times, with a stronger focus on full-scale urban regeneration projects).
Coccia Costruzioni confirms its position among the Top 70 private construction companies in Italy, ranking 16th in the 2024 standings, a result confirmed again in 2025. This achievement is complemented by the significant recognition obtained in the “Growth Champions 2025 – Construction” ranking, where the company secured 4th place nationwide.
The Report presents the ranking, based on 2024 turnover, of the Top 70 companies with a minimum size threshold of approximately €20 million (last year the threshold was higher, at €29 million; this decrease is attributable to the significant reduction in activity experienced by many companies that had previously benefited from the “Superbonus” incentive scheme).
For each company, the main financial statement data are published and analysed (including certain additional indicators beyond those available in the Companies Register), covering a five-year historical series from 2020 (a significant reference year due to the COVID-19 pandemic) through 2024.
In addition to financial figures, the 70 company profiles also outline and comment on market positioning, corporate strategies, and highlight the most significant contracts and projects delivered.
